Transforming Temple Flower Waste into Green Opportunities

Transforming Temple Flower Waste into Green Opportunities

Project Overview

I am delighted to have served as a Resource Person at the workshop on “Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Training on Temple Flower Waste Recycling, Eco-Friendly Fragrance Products and Circular Economy Practices,” organised by the Eco Club of S.L. Bawa D.A.V. College, Batala, on 16 October 2026. The session focused on transforming temple flower waste into valuable, eco-friendly products such as incense sticks, cones, and dhoop, while promoting sustainable waste management, circular economy practices, and green entrepreneurship. I had the opportunity to share insights into the practical aspects of flower waste valorisation, sustainable product development, and the potential of waste-to-wealth initiatives to generate livelihood opportunities, particularly for women and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Additional project details will be available soon.
